Wake Up To The Power Of One
The Law Of Work Ethic: The Importance of Work Ethic as a Key to Success
Work Harder Work Longer
We all have the same 24 hours in a day, it's what you do with them that makes all the difference.
The equation is simple, if you put more work in than your opponent you have a greater chance of victory.
Today, don't waste a second. Put the work in to give yourself every edge over the competition.
The Power and Practice of Work Ethic
Success isn’t rocket science, but it is hard work and definitely won’t happen overnight. It all starts with your work ethic. The law of work ethic shows that having the focus, discipline, and persistence to consistently put in the effort over time is what it takes to become a champion.
Your mindset can change your future. Your attitude can push you forward or hold you back, and it’s all up to you.
Psychological studies have shown that your attitude and work ethic may even play a bigger role in your success than your intelligence. If you possess a growth mindset and honestly believe you have the power to grow and achieve your goals, you’re more likely to reach that goal, even if you fail at first. Each fall backwards is just your motivation to keep going and keep improving yourself.
Champions work while their opponents sleep; their craft is a magnificent obsession. They're always thinking about how to improve and where to go next — and they’re not afraid to fall and get back up and put in a crazy amount of work to realize their visions.
Want to take your game to the next level? Take these three key ideas, live and breathe them, and watch your work ethic, abilities, and performance grow.
The Three Keys to a Strong Work Ethic
- Step 1 Dream Big - Every legend started as a kid with a dream. They dreamt big and put in the work to make those dreams their reality. If you want to make it to the top, you have to set the bar high for yourself. It might take decades to get where you truly want to be, but nothing will happen if you don’t visualize it for yourself.
- Step 2 Work Harder and Longer - Working harder and longer is one of the major keys to success. In every field, there are stories of legendary greats that pushed themselves further than their teammates and opponents. Their coaches and team depended on them, and their opponents feared them. These greats pushed outside of their comfort zones, worked through the pain, and continued to raise the bar for themselves. Next time you start to doubt yourself and take a step back, remember that there’s someone out there trying to outwork and be better than you. Don’t fall behind. Push ahead of the rest.
- Step 3 Be Consistent - Repetition is critical to developing a strong skill set. Not only does having a consistent routine improve your confidence in yourself to accomplish your goals, but it also helps build muscle memory. Science shows that the more you repeat a movement, the motion from the brain to the muscles gets deeper engrained, making it easier and more efficient.
You build a wall one brick at a time. Lay a brick down for yourself every day, and by the end of the year, you’ll be able to measure that success and see just how big a wall you’ve built.
Always remember, without a strong work ethic and willingness to push yourself, you won’t get very far.
